From inception, K2K has been featured in the press and has received numerous awards. At K2K we are proud of the strides that we have made and appreciate the recognition bestowed upon us by our peers, regulators and stalwarts in the industry. In 2019, the firm made history in Trinidad and Tobago by being the first women-led, medium-sized company to win the "Overall Band Of The Year" title, with its Collection, Through Stained Glass Windows.

"The artistry and sophistication of designers Kathy and Karen Norman will come to life at the Hyatt Regency on October 17 as K2K Alliance and Partners launch its newest initiative “The Colour of Courage” something they see as their “Social Responsibility” and its 2016 Carnival Collection, Searching for Shangri-La. The black tie gala will establish the Color of Courage as a platform for connecting global leaders with local individuals who wish to benefit from insights on how to awaken the giant within and propel themselves to achieve success in their personal, professional, business and entrepreneurial lives.
The keynote speaker for in augural Color of Courage series will be Ethiopian born, internationally acclaimed wedding dress designer and creative director, Amsale Aberra. "

"The availability of human capital in Trinidad has diminished...I think we have potential, creative minds and talent, but we need human capital on the island to support that and help it grow," said Kathy Norman.

"A lot of the growth in the fashion industry is spurred by government and corporate spending." In Trinidad and Tobago, "energy generates the most money, so a lot of money isn't put towards fashion. It's up to government and corporations to put capital behind designers and invest..." added Karen Norman.
